So some friends and I got together for a creative writing club. Sounds tacky, yeah, but I've been having enormous amounts of fun.
We decided to make a character each and then collaborate to form one big story. After we finish, we're going to have copies printed for all of us.
The thing is, our characters need to be based off of ourselves. So, my character shares my name, my childhood, and even my appearance. Most of the other people in the group are altering the way they look, but I'm happy with me.
Anyway, the premise is that there's a refuge city underwater where the remnants of humanity are hiding from a nuclear holocaust. Character-Alison wakes up in a hospital there with radiation poisoning and no idea how she got there.
I still need to figure that one out. Oh well, the fun is in the journey.
