I just spent the last week as a defense attorney for a mock trial thing. I lived at Western this last week... hopefully that explains my negligence as far as this blog is concerned.
I had a ton of fun and all that, but it was EXHAUSTING. I was up so late and awake so early. On the bright side, I was given free all-you-can-eat meals for a week. I burned all the carbs, though, because I had to walk MILES to get to the meeting spots.
The trial I worked on ended in a hung jury. I found out later that the votes leaned in favor of the defendant... so, that was basically a win for me.
But I will never be a lawyer.
